Our apartment in Berlin is made for giants.

Berlin

After 6+ hours on the train we finally made it to Berlin! This city is gigantic, and considerably more intimidating than cute little Amsterdam. Also, everyone is very tall—again. Kreuzberg, our neighborhood, seems pretty industrial and is covered in graffiti like most of Berlin, though all in all it feels safe. We were directed to a yummy restaurant for dinner and found a nice bar to grab a drink afterward. Still getting used to the city’s rough exterior, but we like it already.

Video tomorrow on our incredibly gigantic apartment. Really though, it will blow your mind.

Easier said than done. Spending the rest of the evening trying my hand at German.

Some charming German countryside. Yes, we are riding on the train backwards. That’s what you get in second class.

I’m bad with directions. In terms of navigation, Amsterdam has been a bit tough for me (thank goodness for modern technology). But getting lost here is no big deal because these are the kinds of sights you get to see while you find your way.
